Part of the story of Wilmington is that it is a coastal port city and plays an important role as a distribution point for the region and the country. The Port City House was designed for an urban infill lot and took design cues from the Port of Wilmington, using forms reminiscent in the shape of shipping containers and metal as a dominant material. An alley at the back of the property gave the opportunity for a detached garage with a separate apartment above. Construction to begin soon.
